This specimen was lot 1937 in Goldberg sale 110 (Los Angeles, June 2019), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 100 Dollars, 2006. Year of the Dog. Choice Proof." This design was issued in many other denominations. Since 1989, Australia has entered the bullion and collectibles market in a big way, having produced commemoratives and NCLT's numbering in the hundreds of types.

Recorded mintage: 1,274.

Specification: 31.10 g, .999 fine gold, 32.1 mm diameter, 1 ounces AGW.
